I don't know his girlfriend but I'm sure she was eagerly waiting for your opinion on a game she likes

What if one of my RPG's requires an update? Now I am only curious if I would need a Gold account to download updates and/or patches.

The pro has a hard drive I believe and HD cables. If you get the arcade, you're probably gonna end up buying a hard drive in the future, and IMO it's a lot for a hard drive.
Well, can anyone answer my question regarding LIVE accounts and game updates?
Does the Pro come with component cables? Also I need to use batteries won't I? grrr... MS pisses me off to no end, but the games pull me in.

Don't buy a system for a single game unless it is a must have and you cant wait to play it such as LoZ:TP was for me and the Wii. Also what I do to justify a purchase is to think up of all the games for that console i would want ans see how often i would play them then if all the games total new cost equals more than the console then i go ahead and buy that console, to make it worth it that is.
"Like you know"
No need for gold. Gold is only for online multi player. Also, new demos are avaible a week earlier for gold users.

Euphoria, I'm sorry this topic turned into what it did. No one wants to answer your questions. They just want to argue. Here's the details of a Silver Live Account(Free):
Xbox Live SilverXbox Live Silver will be free for all Xbox 360 owners with broadband and a hard drive or memory unit. Silver subscribers will be able to:
This means that "Yes" it can be done with a Silver Account, which is free. Get the hard drive anyways because it's good for game saves and there is enough to do with a Silver Account to warrant having it.
Being a fan of JRPGs, it's good to have both of these consoles, because it seems many JRPGs will not be going multiplatform this gen as opposed to other genres. Infinite Undiscovery which is 2009 is on 360, and Mistwalker, the developer of Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon is 360 exclusive, including whatever their next RPG is, won't be seeing a PS3 release. There is also support from Atlus which may or may not see the light of day outside of Japan. You also need to keep your girl happy, so get her that Viva Pinata already. Luckily, Viva Pinata seems to be able to do it's online item trading with a Silver Account, so your girl is in luck.
Plus, you'll get a free month of Gold live Account when you sign up for a Silver Account, so you can try some of the online for Gears of War. It's got a great online component. Hope this helps.
