Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors edge

It was God of War until Bayonetta 2 happened. Bayonetta 2 is best in its class in my humble opinion.

God of War; story, design of the characters (especially on III), setting, scale and the weapons.

For me. Ninja gaiden until the 3rd released.

Devil may cry and Metal gear revengeance.

Check what all of those games have as a common denominator. I think a his requirement is the platform they can be played on lol.

I'm definitely not a specialist on Ninja Gaiden like you I assume given the avatar, but I also can say it was shitty

Doesn't mean it wasn't one of his favorites. Everyone has different tastes. Some people even like DmC, the worst hack and slash of all time IMO.

I thought it was good. Not one of my favorites, but a solid game. People have loved WAY worse hack and slash games than Razors Edge.
