What is it supposed to show or prove? That WiiU is capable of outputing non native 1080p resolution like PS3 & x360?

They are not lying, PR are just ignorant when it comes to resolution or they intentionnaly mix it with output resolution, like when Reggie stated that COD would run in 1080p on WiiU.

You can choose to believe what you like but nfans have been wrong since the beginning, when i said that mario kart or super mario would be 720p. I got the exact same comments and guess what, i was right, you were all wrong. Go on...it's entertaining

Well it's gonna be hilarious when Digital foundry is gonna test it and you all gonna feel salty, all over again like with many other games.

Why would it have to prove anything other than having the highest native resolution and frame rates possible on the Wii U?

That was a comparison between the 3DS and Wii U version of the game's resolution. And also, the screenshots Nintendo has been posting have all been 1920X1080. But they aren't the only place you can get the screenshots, some places they are at a lower resolution, which is where your screenshots come from.

Those other games were never confirmed by Nintendo. Eurogamer was what started the rumor of Mario Kart 8 being 1080p.
