What is wrong with you people? Are you jealous fanboys or just miserable and cynical? Many games get re-releases and ports, that's quite common. Why would Sony not push a game that could potentially turn into their biggest franchise?

The Last of Us was a fantastic game and it is getting the recognition it deserves, deal with it. Was it a flawless game? Nope. Was it the game of the generation? I personally don't think so but that in no way justifies some of these ludicrous statements. I guess if it wasn't exclusive then the "gamers" who put their preferred brand name before the games would be a whole lot less bitter because it seems that these people are the only vocal critics. I don't own a PS3 so I'm really happy that the Remastered version exists but I'm also happy that Sony isn't forgetting that there are millions of people still playing their PS3s.

If you dont have any positive attitude towards a thread then why spread hate? And people are bringing up Halo MCC for the same reason you posted. And here everyone knows it.

Oh come on. This is a bad practice in general, and a lot of companies do this. This is getting pretty excessive too, its only been little over a year after milking this particular title with Season Passes, DLC not on Season Passes, a Remaster, and now a GotY edition. This is too much, irregardless of the game's value in such a short time frame. Might as well never buy a game "new" from Naughty Dog if you're going to expect to get this sort of nonsense in such short order.

If you want to do "Platinum" or "(Insert Company Here) Selects" after years of being on the market, at a discounted price... sure. It brings old games back to attention of people. But this is just greed.

... Um. Murph never even derailed the thread; he never brought up Halo. This is in fact triple dipping with basically a year and a half since its initial release. To me that seems excessive. 

Edit: got no issue with the PS4 release, but who does this re-release appeal to in PS3. The PS3 version is probably pretty cheap right now.
