I was saying only YoY for vita for the week, i meant the last quarter YoY. Vita did well this year, but I think we all thought it be way over Total Year Sales (which im sure it will) 2013 vs 2014. The big gap is closing, thats what i was at least trying to say. And Unfortunately with PS4 getting heavy support next year its going to eat up sales for vita in japan next year.
I think i had a prediction awhile back that vita sales would increase to around 2mil and peak in year 2015. Thats not happening no more unless PS4 doesn't get the Exclusives that would be solely for vita.
As for N3DS, it did Amazing. Your comparing it to the biggest non holiday 3ds week in japan. Its still the 2nd or 3rd highest week sales for any japan 3ds week (outside Dec). Sold out made a huge difference(it did in 2 days for the XL model), thats like saying PS4 WW wouldn't have been better if they had extra stock when it was sold out!
Your right as its still early but its doing well. Looking at post on gaf from people living in japan, N3DS is going to have a great holiday, now we know why it cant launch in the West.... They wont have enough to give to the DEMAND
