I have only played Wind Waker so I'm not exactly a Zelda fan. I did enjoy that game though.

I would be fine with a female link. Honestly, it would change things up a bit dialogue wise. Yet, I'd be perfectly satisfied with a male still. I don't think the personality would be much different though so...it's not needed.

Short Answer: Nintendo games aren't character personality driven so...it doesn't matter.

Also haven't you seen Lana and Cia?

Yeah... about that...

Why are Cia's breasts considerably bigger than Lana's?

I know I shouldn't tell you this but try googling push-up bra.

Lana's breasts aren't emphasized as much in her main outfit and might even be concealed by intent. But if you look closely they're pretty much the same. Good to see in their latest costumes.

Also I think Lana's head is a bit bigger which makes them look even smaller.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'd be fine with either one, as long as the foundation of the game stays the same. Link is a generational hero; he need not be male or female. And it would be interesting to experience the game as Zelda. It could give Aonuma and company the opportunity to explore the character and introduce new moves and mechanics.

This very closely mirrors my thoughts on the matter. I'll go into more detail soon.

So far, the responses have been very interesting, and the poll results about what I expected, though I was hoping we had more ladies around here.

Zelda. Let Link stay as Link. A Sheik/Zelda game would be cool.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

They're not character personality driven, but they sure are very character driven, so yes, it matters.

Nintendo has some great characters with a lot of heart. They do have some personality to them but not a lot. So, making Link female wouldn't change all that much character-wide. Different gender, same personality.

Eh, why's that?

Sheik

I would totally play a Shiek standalone game.

If they can make a female Link work into the continuity/style of Zelda games then why not. BUT if it is more of a forced idea for the sake of media then no.

Other than that, a proper game where Zelda/Shiek is the lead is fine.
