5 games would be a big deal. Why do you think it's your job to marginilize Nintendo's mistakes? Stop it.

Mistakes? Yeah N3DS is a mistake right? Lmao. Whats your job can i ask? Maybe you should just stop no?

Their mistake was making the OG 3DS underpowered, and not having all the buttons there to begin with.

Thats all i was saying. But i guess its all my fault lol! I only argued vita tv sales because of it being a console instead of a HH last year. That said its combined by everyone so i need to keep my mouth shut and leave it how it is.

Same is said with N3DS. Its more powerful and has an exclusive (and a few more later)  and a few people want to seperate them like its not apart of the 3ds family. This isnt a new gen, 3ds games is 99% focused over the n3ds exclusives.

Oh well :-/

Seems like the 3DS outshone the predictions in that one Nu3DS sales thread. Good on it.

Not sure what to think for MH. On one hand, it's amazing. On the other, it's frightening (for Capcom.)

Yeah, such a terrible mistake. 3DS only cost $250 at launch and it did terrible pre price cut and you want them to add more to the cost right?

Overall it was already overpriced, if an XL wax made at that time the damn thing would be nearly $300.

Lastly doesnt look like much of a mistake to me looking at vita situation (Not trying to start, just making a comparison) and 3ds sales WW.

MH Is great, but Capcom might just use that money on Smartphones again :0

In which case, what is the point to the additional power?

Load times, better wifi capabilities, faster OS, and better 3D tracking capabilities. The extra power is built for the experience moreso than it is for the game throughput. There's not much else to be gained on the 3DS given its limited screen resolution in pumping up graphics, but there's a lot to be gained in a better user experience.

MH is doing great when set beside everything else, but compared to older entries... not so much.

Ummmmm..... When you talk about older entries, are you talking just MH3P and MH4? These sales (over 1.6mil) is close enough to the top 2 entries of the franchise. So why "not so much" :P

edit: mh4g also might become the best selling MH game of all time WW.

Because the series had it's peak with MH3P. It's all downhill from here, and the bombastic opening of MH4 proves it.
