I'm curious why many people here are predicting Zelda U to sell 4 million lifetime. I love Zelda and I hope it does that well, but remember, Skyward Sword didn't even reach 4 million, and that was on a system with an exponentially larger user base. I just feel like 4 million for Zelda U is unrealistic.

4 million is too much, I agree. But the first iteration of Zelda in a system usually sells very good. And MK8 has showed us that the Wii U isn't stopping big franchises from selling good. I doubt it'll reach 4 million, but above 3 million is not out of the question.

You should compare Zelda U to WW, not Skyward Sword. SS was meant to sell bad (dying/dead console, add-on necessary, questionable art style).

Well, third party exclusives have shown to sell not too bad. So 250k sounds bad compared to the likes of MH3G (which is even shared with the 3DS), ZombiU, Lego City U, and even, recently released, Hyrule Warriors.


Well if you say exclusives then yes. However, those games sold between 500k-750k so is 250k that much of a difference?

@Devil. It's more than half. Since it is exclusive, I guess it gives more revenue, but is still bad IMO.
