I don't get the point of 60 FPS for any version of Minecraft. Its "choppiness" is part of its very character. All you'd be doing is rendering extra still frames.

I think they should make a version with Project Spark. THat way you could design actual games around the Minecraft worlds. It sure would be kind of neat to have people help you build the different areas. Totally co-op madness. You could then Sell your game for 1 dollar or 1 Euro or whatever. You get 50% and Mojang/Microsoft gets 50%....

I fail to see the point in a "Minecraft 2", especially on PC. Everything you listed, and an awful lot more, is readily available with mods.

And don't forget the huge community backlash Microsoft would receive if they stopped putting out the free updates and instead release a Minecraft 2.

That's just what I was about to say. Minecraft 2 would be the definition of a cash grab. The Minecraft Toastboy is talking about sounds like a lesser version to what I've played on my PC. Besides the 1080p (or, I dunno the native res of MC on PC really), but who gives a crap about that in Minecraft?

My advice to Toastboy is to buy the PC version, and dowload FTB launcher, Tekkit, and Yogcraft, and a few other modpacks, and potential search for other mods he wants. There are mods for nearly everything.
