Well it says they are aiming for it. It would be strange though that AC Unity couldn't do it but this game could.
Looks like they say they are AIMING for 1080p for both. Not yet confirmed guys.
Praise the One.
Seriously guys, Far Cry 4 doesn't look as good as Unity from a technical standpoint. Take a look at in-game cinematic's and gameplay, the difference is clearly visible. Plus Unity is current gen only while Far Cry 4 is cross gen, that will also have an effect.

not in gameplay... but who gives a shit about that? |
Find me one post in this forum that said gameplay doesn't matter.
I'll wait.

Watch the XB1 version fail to meet that target.
Wasn't PS4 version already confirmed 1080p?
Anyway I don't really care. Not interested in Far Cry 4...

We rarely talk about gameplay any more. This forum cares more about digital foundry, res and rate. Thats a fact I'm afraid. I dont care what you wantto belive. Go count up how many threads we have had on this subject this gen and how many on actual gameplay and report back. Its a landslide. I'll wait. |
So a Digital Foundry thread only talks about graphics and framerate? I'm shocked. It's almost as if Digital Foundry was designed for that exact purpose.
Still waiting for that example btw.

I hope you're being sarcastic. FC4 is cross gen so it's easier to get a higher resolution. The game also doesn't look as good as Unity. Sony also has a co marketing deal so no parity clauses here.
