That said, this year is a huge drop but 3ds wont be 50% down YoY in japan by years end (imo i think it'll hit over 3mil) and as for 2015, depending on the software output, i think 2015>2014 outside of japan.

Not really sure why some people are sooo confident about 3ds beating ps4. Console is already at 12 millions with few games, when fifa, gran turismo, cod, etc come out next-gen exclusive, it can only do better. Without mentioning how is 3ds dropping and the huge legs for PS systems and home consoles in general. 2017, 2018 at the latest.

Great comparison... except you're just showing me how Nintendo systems have shit legs, and we all know Sony consoles are kings of selling for well beyond they rightfully should.

This thread has nothing to do with SW sales... even if it was 3DS would still lose out to PS4 anyway.

Yeap i do, but i was trying to make a point its the opposite way with SW.

Anywayz 3ds obviously beats ps4 if it were solely on 1st party SW. PS4/X1 have third party support, something Nintendo doesn't which is obviously 1 company vs 100s :0

That said HH dont get nowhere near the support as home consoles. Nintendo is pretty damn impressive in that scenario as its probably the only game company that could survive solely on 1st party. (though you have EA/Ubisoft/Capcom/etc that could maybe pull it off)

Edit: Aside from Monster Hunter and a few big titles, 3DS HW #s are impressive when looking at the support for it (being 90% nintendo if shovelware is excluded). Of course the majority tend to not think about it :'-(
