are there really people that dont?

Are there really people?

^This lol.  So much this.

I'm no physicist or engineer either but we have no street level shots, and 7 had a trapezoidal footprint, most of what I have seen in the way of demolition footage is of square or rectangular footprinted buildings being dropped. I would think different shapes would behave differently.
As I thought the building also sat atop the "power station"
"The building was situated above a Consolidated Edison power substation, which imposed unique structural design constraints." So if the diesel was in a basement or subbasement footage taken even at street level (especially blocks away) likely wouldn't indicate what was happening below ground.

These comments are hilarious

I know right? I needed a good laugh.

Does anyone know exactly where these generators and fuel were located inside building 7? Seems like oxygen rich air lines would be a perfect conduit for fire and you would have to have fuel on hand to run the generators. If these blew around one of the central supports in say the basement could it not result in the same demolition like effect? Just a theory.

sounds interesting

i'll post what some of the main anomalies reported by engineers were

the way the building collapses in the middle first is characteristic of a controlled event

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=972ETepp4GI

this is done in order to cause the weight of the building to act inward as it falls

and its highly unlikely for this to happen in a random event

edit: found a video of an implosion with a kink effect that is pretty similar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qyYZe-R3p4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nco5hmi3OmU

the speed at which the building falls and how uniformly it falls

looking at footage the building falls in such a way that it appears as if all support for the building is eliminated instantly

it doesn't collapse in pieces or fall apart in pieces... the whole thing falls in a regular way straight down in a few seconds

again this is basically impossible for a random event

now i paraphrased of course but these were the most glaring issues with building 7 i believe

the thing about a fire theory is one thing i'd ask is why can we see no flames or smoke from the outside?

there may be some explanation for this but i don't know

but again i'm not an engineer so my opinion is no better than any other layman

I don't really understand this "are there really people" joke

In looking through some of your links I did see fire. Yes though it did drop rather prettily. I'd be more likely to believe (in the instance of just that building in the complex) that if it was dropped like that on purpose I could see insurance fraud being the motivation. Destroy your building without really being liable for too much property damage around it. Just spitballin'.

@ padib about halfway through the video (started watching the first time the link was posted) and already seeing holes in it ...

what do you think of these videos when compared back to the couple building 7 ones

building 7

if you ask me it looks the same

Looks similar to me too although looking at your links the controlled ones collapse less uniformly than 7. They go from the inward out not all at once.

thats true may have to do with structural differences i guess
