No, vgchartz only add 70/80k for China, the rest (25k) is for others Tier 2 country.

the most likely case is (well we know this) they shipped 100k and they sold about 70k. That will drop off massively and they will be doing numbers similar to japan before long. 

the sony thing is so vague. Don't be surprised if they;re being very cautious and end up selling a lot more than 200k a year. 

So how is this different from Playstation announcing 10 million? It's total speculation. One was added and one wasn't. A website doing an interview with the vice-president of Zhang Dazhong(Partner of Xbox China)is a more reliable source than Sony? I must be missing something.

And very awkward if added to Japan. 

I'm pretty sure they're just treated differently. People have pointed out that this site quickly adjusted to MS' numbers a while back, but that doesn't happen with PS4. Why? Well, who knows, but yea.

I am pretty sure ioi stated that it was an estimate. There is no data that anyone knows of to validate anything so its just an estimation. Yes, yes estimations are higher up on the chain than official statements but what do you want? I mean that just how things work. And I think people misunderstand what this site is. Its not about accurate numbers. Its about estimations based on information available to ioi. If you don't like that, too bad. Its not like you are new to this or something.

The OP is trying to demonstrate that this site could blindly add China sales to the XB1 but fail to add a public sales announcement from Sony.  A Sony announcement is the best possible source and a China estimate is not even a source.  It is simply just that, a guess.

So yes, I would also like an explanation how a site would want to be so credible and make sure the console sales are placed accordingly for the PS4 yet turn around and make a blind guess for the sales in China for the XB1.
