That's great, but I'd love to exprience that with MGS4, it feels kinda... dated.

It's not like you're flying around the screen at 100mph. If you play MGS properly you will be slowly sneaking around. I haven't played MGS4 in a while but if MGS2 and MGS3 are still perfect for me I'm sure #4 is absolutely fine.
