This is why I have restrained myself getting PS+ because of their poor service. If Sony wants $50 from me then they have to prove themselves. It seems I wont be getting PS+ anytime sooner.

Same here. And with the long list of single player games I plan to pick up over the next 6-9 months, I don't see myself getting PS+ any time soon.

Not worth the two indie games I will certainly never play anyway. Any AAA game given away I can always easily borrow from a friend...

Yup. My PS4 is pretty much single player system. Last gen I loved Uncharted 3 muyltiplayer. So I might get it after Uncharted 4 release. Till then PS3 and PC will keep me busy with onlie gameplay.

on a different note, have you guys heard of this game? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrX7G-1xPLs

Yep, they kinda screwed themselves on this release. I'm not even thinking about buying it, til i can check it out on PS+. By the time they get it sorted out, other games will be out, and people will move on, before the game even had a chance.

Tomorrow, a new working day starts so let's see what they can manage to do.

im getting tired of waiting for the Free version of Drivelcub... at this point im asking to myself: "are they even going to release that version now?... how much more time till they fix the server problems?"... i wonder how many people were waiting to try the Free version to decide if they will purchase the game or not, and now those people might not wanna try it out now and are just gonna buy any of the upcoming games...

In fact Driveclub PS+ free version is not included in the usual PS+ "free" games.

You can see it like an annual gift for PS+ subscribers.

I was excited for the ps+ game and now I'm over it.

The game seems to be doing fine. I reached lvl 50 at #548 in the leaderboard early yesterday. Since then made it to 288, dropped back to 520 while sleeping. The lvl 50 trophy is still at 0.1% ultra rare, so if that's rounded down there should be at least 500 times that many leaderboard entries.
It's busy this weekend, I keep losing connection to the server again. At this rate I doubt the free ps+ version is coming any time soon. It wouldn't surprise me if they delayed it to relaunch it with the weather update.

Anyway it's a must have if you like track based racing, I haven't been this addicted to a racing game in years. Yet you might as well wait until the server problems are fixed if you like online racing. Even if I get in a lobby there's still the dreaded "could not connect to other players" after a minute and I get booted back out. It's frustrating, the gameplay is awesome, online a complete clusterfuck.

Update: Sony secretly delete the youtube video about October's free games.
Looks likePS+ wont be getting Delat Clus this month.

"Majority" of DriveClub owners can now connect online

Still no word on the PlayStation Plus version.

The majority of DriveClub owners should now be able to connect their copy of the game online, developer

Evolution Studios has said.

DriveClub's servers have been hampered by connection issues since the game's launch almost two weeks ago.

Many users have been left playing offline, only able to connect when another player leaves and frees up a server space.

"We're still improving server performance to get all of you enjoying full online connectivity together,

but the majority of DriveClub players should now be able to connect and play online,"

a new message on the game's Facebook has reassured.

"More server updates and upgrades are coming online over the weekend,

so while this work continues you may still experience some issues with connectivity but please keep trying."

Anyone who does connect will be able to race in multiplayer,

compete in face-offs, play for their club and use club cars plus view online leaderboards.

Evolution concluded by promising it would continue to work until all players are connected.

There was no new word on the game's free PlayStation Plus Edition,

however - delayed indefinitely so server spaces are reserved for those who have bought the game's full version.

"We will continue to keep you informed as we make progress and

we know we've said this before but we mean it: We know how frustrating it is when you can't

get connected and we feel it too. We are working flat out to get online sign-in,

multiplayer racing and leaderboards running smoothly for everyone, all of the time.

"We can't thank you enough for your messages of support

and feedback during the past week, so please keep talking to us and sharing your

thoughts about the game while you play."
