Wait, what? Is Activision really doing this? Well, seeing that the latest CoD isn't booming with high preorder numbers Activision tries to revoke interest by making this title a cross buy game. Buy 1 get both versions is something we've seen numerous times with usually with smaller games like Flower, Guacamole and Hotline Miami. This is not an upgrade, you do in fact get both versions of the game which is a nice bonus for people with both systems

awesome i have pre ordered the physical version so was wondering is this digtal cross buy coming to the pal regions to or just america? Plus any news of xbox one doing the same as also have that version pre ordered as getting the cod xbox one console lol.

Well, at least there is one company that is making the transition easier while more and more people get ps4! (Although, it is a bit weird that its activision is the one doing it but its not that surprising since they did it with destiny)

The difference here is that you can upgrade to newer gen while with cod you just get both versions if you buy either. 

But if your able to play both versions of Destiny than its better to get the digital ps3 version I guess.

i can wait for a sale on ps3 digital then to play on ps4,handy

Activision could really use the money.
