I'm against toastboy returning despite how much entertainment the people here can get out of hanging around him ...

The whole creating a thread to bait other users then reporting them tactic was heinous enough as it is so I don't how much damage he'll continue doing as long as he keeps staying in this community ...

If we're going to bring him back I say the mods should give some leeway or breathing room to those unfortunate to fall for his bait ...
If not then I say we leave things the way they are ...

Mods is it OK to insult somebody's book? I know personal insults are not allowed but people put a lot of effort into their books in some cases.

You need 500 posts or more to join a metaphorical train on vgchartz.  It's an unwritten rule. 

I apologize for bringing awareness to a moderation I disagreed with in the mod thread about concerns.  It will not happen again.  *Claps hands* moderating staff for banning me for such heinous crimes and calling it spam.  I will be less evil in the future and be wary of my mailicious attack.

So to apologize for my horrific crime, Kowen shouldn’t have been banned because it wasn’t baiting.  Seems like he was irritated about being ganged up on (which isn’t uncommon for Tamron and Tachi) and them trying to convince him of something that he wasn’t interested in in the first place, because somebody couldn’t accept that he had an “opinion” that they didn’t agree with.  His comment was more geared towards, accept my opinion and deal with it whether you like it or not. And with Tamron and Tachi’s history you should know/see they have a preference for Sony and have been moderated for similar issues in the past. 

Bans such as these in my opinion doesn’t make the user(s) look bad but rather the moderating staff.  It makes you all look overly eager to ban people. And that is a legit concern and something i think you all should improve on.  Whether it be shinobi attacking seece and anybody who disagrees with him, or jumping to moderate Kowen, Amy, and now me, ive seen multiple things this week that im not happy with.

each point follows the order the the bolded statement. 

1- how was it not baiting? he called out the site, he changed the subject from the materials to the community and site behavior, it was an off topic, baiting comment that wasnt needed. if anybody can explain to me the relation between the materials of the xb1/ps4 to the site and community behavior, then please do so.

2- he was irritated because he was called out on his nonesense. then he went on to call out the entire site. his ban is well deserved. 

3- he was interested in it since he was the one who made the original comment about the materials, which turned out to be the same as on the xb1.

4- they didnt agree with his opinion because it was false, and they proved it with cold hard facts.

5- lets not get started about kowens history with sony and ms, shall we?

6- nobody jumped the gun here and banned him. he made a silly claim, was proved other wise, tried to play "my opinion card" and attacked the community of this site when he was proven wrong. 

Opinions are nonsense?  He did state it was his opinion did he not?   Conversation should have ended there.  If not there, then here. Being irritated with how people react on this site isnt allowed?
