Forums - Sony - Driveclub Review Thread - Meta 74

These mediocre reviews have just reinforced my decision not to renew my PS+ sub. No sense in wasting money on a below average racer.
Guess I'll wait for December and The Crew reviews, it at least has a more interesting concept.

I guess that theory about review embargoes until release day is confirmed.

Average is 60, 74 is not below 60. Ppl overeact so much over review scores, its getting a bunch of points detucted for having an Euro Centric car roster and not beeing open world not because it isnt a fun racer...

Never trust reviews. Any of them. Just try the game and have an honest opinion. I'm tired of people saying the game sucks because of Metascore.

3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.

74/100 on Metacritic right now.

Good enough with the history of the game (delays, new director...), and more than enough for a free game on PS+. Every PS+ player can try it and buy it if it's good, so I'm not sure reviews are that important.

I willl play it for free tonight! It is all good!

User reviews : 6.5

not gonna buy it on my ps4 ill buy fh 2 instead

why is people crying about the scores ? do you take the gamespot review seriously ? lmao

first - its gamespot, they do it for the clicks
second - the dude who review it ? dude probably dont like or play these types of games, its like they said " we have this shit here to review who is not busy? oh kevin its free , the dude who only likes rpgs , give that review to him" result a 5 / 10 its boring :D

The only reviews i care are gametrailers , IGN and gameinformer, they all liked it, in fact the dude who gave it the best score ( from gametrailers ) is a HUGE racing fan and one of the best reviwers in the industry

no, but the score

playstation universe gave it an 95/100

so we need the gamespot 5/10 score to get a reliable picture

that result in 72,5/100 and is where the game belongs

Well, metacritic also has a weight to particular sites and I doubt that PSU has the same weight attached to it like Gamespot does.

Yeah but the problem with that is that you might actually spend a lot of money on a game that isn't all that great.

It's always a gamble with new games, so I tend to decide by reviews a lot.

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

Destiny with a 76 = bad game

Driveclub with a 74 = oh boy... just put the poor thing out of its misery

Forza 5 with a 79 = Good game

Destiny XBone with a 79 = Good game unlike the PS4 version

Driveclub just needs a few more points and it will jump from shit to good. So crazy how these metascores work. O_o

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Hell, 1,97 million people bought KZ:SF and look how this ended on metacritic... There are people who even enjoyed Ryse... Well, in the end it all comes down to personal preferences and all that, not to mention that fanbases of course seem to like exclusives way more and talk about them way more in a hype way but that's just how it goes and works on forums :)

Sorry to but in on your conversation but Killzone got a 73 on metacritic. That is a good score and the game is also good. It wasn't the second coming of christ but it was a fun, solid shooter.

This game is free for PS+ gamers, so you can try it without spending a lot of money, and buy the full version if you like it.
