By the quote it's obvious they put full resources into the Xbox One version so it's now equal to the PS4 version! Great now everyone can play the best graphics available to this  gen!

Sure, that's one way to spin it, but if the X1 can get to a certain point, then the Ps4 should be able to surpass it. This isn't the case though, it's pretty easy to see they decided to hold the PS4 back. I doubt it's a coincidence that MS just so happens to be marketing this game. If we see further parity on stuff like the Division and Witcher 3, we'll have a pretty clear picture of what's going on behind the scenes.

Nope it's just pretty obvious that the Xbox One and PS4 are almost identicle in terms of power when the proper dev kits are out there but there are people out there who want to spread lies

It's just toastboy people, move along...

Dev kits will never make up for hardware differnces.

This only becomes more absurd as the gap increases.

Uh.... no. Dev kit updates only allows devs to get closer to utilizing the theoretical peak performances of consoles. Software updates can't change hardware, where there is a huge disparity between the X1 and PS4. Also, you're running on the assumption that Sony will just sit around and not update their pS4 dev kits, which is completely false.

I actually don't take your threads seriously but this gem, "Xbox owners are true gamers who care about the game and not pixels." there were also a decent amount xbox fans willing to put with MS's bullshit tactics and ask for more, opening pandora's box for everybody else to get fucked.

OT: I have no idea how specs work so I can't comment on this..."claim"

There have been calls for this thread to be locked.

On the face of it, the entire premise of this thread feels flawed and contrived. But on the other hand, I don't think we've ever known Toastboy to be wrong, about anything.

As such, I think we should take it as given that without Ubisoft's recent parity decision, the PS4 version of Unity's resolution would have risen no higher than 925p, and ban those who say otherwise henceforth.

All in favour?

"The Xbox One and PS4 are almost identicle in terms of power." Stopped reading here.

Sounds reasonable to me homie. I for one don't think it would have risen over 925p
