Sure, that's one way to spin it, but if the X1 can get to a certain point, then the Ps4 should be able to surpass it. This isn't the case though, it's pretty easy to see they decided to hold the PS4 back. I doubt it's a coincidence that MS just so happens to be marketing this game. If we see further parity on stuff like the Division and Witcher 3, we'll have a pretty clear picture of what's going on behind the scenes.

Nope it's just pretty obvious that the Xbox One and PS4 are almost identicle in terms of power when the proper dev kits are out there but there are people out there who want to spread lies

Uh.... no. Dev kit updates only allows devs to get closer to utilizing the theoretical peak performances of consoles. Software updates can't change hardware, where there is a huge disparity between the X1 and PS4. Also, you're running on the assumption that Sony will just sit around and not update their pS4 dev kits, which is completely false.
