I wanted to buy this game for PS4 the other day as I do not want it on the PS3 I share with a roommate. Damn, waiting game!

Isn't having to come up with something to make use of the gamepad the reason so many multiplats don't come to Wii U? It would be like MS trying to force multiplats to use Kinect for core gameplay features, back when Kinect was sold with every Xb one of course.
I was looking to get this, as I downloaded s1e1 on PS3 for free to give it a try, and wanted to by the full season, but a season bundle wasn't available and buying individual episodes was too much. So happy to see it come to PS4 as full season bundles. Looking forward to 400 days.

I think it really takes no extra effort just to get it to play off tv, which is all I really wanted. No extra features tagged on because of gamepad, I play on the gamepad all the time. It's a great feature, videogames put me to sleep when I'm having trouble sleeping.

I'm actually surprised that it isn't already on the Wii U. Hopefully someday soon though |
None of TT's latest work is on Wii U or 3DS. I don't think their WiiWare games sold very well, possibly not even well enough to get revenue for it (you need to sell 6k copies to get any money).
Hardware owned:
PC, PS4, 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3
Most anticipated games (near to mid future):
Zelda U/NX
The Last Guardian

I hear where you're coming from, but I wasn't really talking about endings. It's about how things unfold in the story (as you play, hence: "what happens next"). Of course the main plot won't change much (it doesn't in Heavy Rain either - the killer is always the same, etc..., despite twenty-two conclusions). However, The Walking Dead does make you care for characters in ways few games mimmick, which plays a direct role on the story, and that is why it is so successful. |
It does have a nice story but the decision making was way more significant in Heavy Rain. Yeah the killer is always the same but you could have so many different endings and completely different scenes in Heavy Rain. TWD you go through the same convos and the people may be around for a few extra minutes depending what you do. Can't save Carli or keep Lilly or have someone other than Kenny go and I think it's because of the success that they knew it would go more than one season so they can't have the story be significantly different.

Oh, if you're talking remote play, then yeah no problemo.
