If I lost my job, I'd look for another one. I save money so I wouldn't be in trouble (and I can always sell off my stock portfolio if I need some cash).

I'd get a job at some fast food restaurant and probably get paid more, though my satisfaction would certainly go down. I've seen help wanted ads hiring at a starting wage of almost $13, it's the nice thing about living in a town with a jobless rate below 4%. Then I could start looking for a more personally satisfying job.

I'd have a few months to find one before things get hard. Also, I'd cut off all non-essential spending. So no new games would be purchased, basically no entertainment would be purchased.

Easy - take my severance and final check and look for another job. I'd be very selective, and figure out if I needed to relocate or not.

I would also call the mortgage company and tell them I am unemployed and looking for work. Nonessential spending would be halted, but I'd save money on gas because I wouldn't have to go to work - big +.

i would sleep veeeery long

I would go home and play some PS3..... waiting for my wife to get home and tell her and actually have 2 disasters in one day.

i would go on a "mental break" and cause tons of damage then blame it on the stress of the "job loss"

Try to find another one.
