Why isn't ioi adding them?

Once the most recent chart is for sales from more than 2 weeks ago people start getting scratchy and want to see more recent numbers. Let's face it, most people aren't too fussed about the last week of Oct. Everyone wants to know how much Xb one beat PS4 by in the USA for the first week of Nov. And that chart isn't due under normal conditions for a good 3 or 4 days. Still would be nice to be able to hope for the CoD week 1 USA chart to be posted at the regular time of Friday or Saturday this week. But the longer we have to wait for the final October week the less likely we'll be to see FW Nov before next week.

Is this going to become a monthly pattern? Last week of the month gets delayed until NPD so that no one can compare numbers until after vgc has had a chance to review and make adjustments? If so ioi should tell us that's a new policy so we know what to expect.

Mhmm, I do wonder why that is. Maybe not enough people are using that vgc pro feature or maybe no one is using it loll. So, I guess ioi and whoever feels that they dont really need to keep on schedule for a bunch of free users? Which, I can certainly see why that is cause a lot of people here use adblock and if no one is using the vgc pro, free sales estimate of 5 platforms on a weekly baises is kind of a luxury is suppose. But again, idk why is it so unscheduled for sure

I have another theory...

Complains about the numbers... before the nunbers are kinds of more accurate (it was never but is was more close) and the complains was less than today... now after the latest sold numbers and the big difference ioi started to take more time to get more accurate numbers to make the estimates... so that is why it is talking a lot more time.

Hmm, thats also a pretty good theory! I personally never complain about the timing of the sales data cause without vgc, we will be pretty much in the dark until the publishers announce the numbers themselves but it is true that being off by so much is kinda annoying so if urs is true, I would really take longer schedules + better accuracy than the current option anyday!

npd comes out this week youll have to wait till after there released, no sense adjusting numbers twice

And that is exactly why I bumped the thread instead of making a new one. 

it's bad for this site. if the numbers won't be adjusted for 2 weeks at a time then you will get a lot less website hits. Plus when 2 or 3 weeks worth of numbers come at once most forget about the 2 weeks ago update and just talk about the latest one. So in effect you get half the discussion on here you otherwise would have got. They shoulf just update them best they can and who gives a fuck if they need to adjust them. At least the sales talk can continue. Personally I think ioi has lost motivation and it's a result of the over the top abuse he was getting both here and else where on places like n4g and gaf.
