And that isn't what we're discussing. Multiplats are clearly pushing XB1 as well, just not as much as PS4 (and this has never been up for debate).

That what people says when "Third parties won't sell Xbones".

Every game give a boost in sales but it is not considered a system seller... that happened when the boost is way bigger than the competition.

Yet again you can't grasp the topic. This is about multiplats selling Xbox Ones. That is happening. That will continue to happen this holiday and beyond and we're seeing the proof (again). This has nothing to do with the competition.

lol did you expected Xbone to stop to sell like zero units? This is all about the competition... the base of the claim is about competition.

so the anwser to the OP... it is true, it is not a myth... same happened last gen with a lot of third party, the difference was that last gen was more tied so the third parties were more splited with advantage in 360 favor.

First off, please don't generalize an entire fanbase.

Secondly, most people knew that the XBO would get help from 3rd parties.

Most of whom were saying it wouldn't are new to following sales.

The claims was about third parties being system seller on PS4... it is like the PS4 has no games claim... it easy to understand.

Nobody expected Xbone to sell zero units... even more in a big game launch lol

Just to explain better...

Console A get a 30% boost with game Y
Console B get a 120% boost with game Y

Y sold console B... it is a system seller on console B... it is not a myth.

You aren't understanding the discussion here and are trying to butt in with some Sony cheerleading. I bolded the only part of the post that is relevant.

There were people here saying the bold wouldn't happen. Hope that helps.

The people are saying that like the PS4 has no games claim... it means it have little boost compared to competition and so it is not a system seller.

If you want to take a claim out of context... fine. But you can expect the others guys disagree and show you the right context.

You are not proving the guys that said that wrong... it is the opposite.

Congrats everyone. The wording of the thread is bad enough and grounds to lock the thread for baiting as is ("where you guys at?" not being the best way to encourage discussion), but the thread was immediately derailed.

I see no reason to prolong the pain, so locking.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Is this like "PS4 has no gaemz" where people take things too literally?

What does the PS4 have to do with it.

I've seen people claim that 3rd parties wouldn't help the XBO against Wii U specifically

And when people say "3rd party games won't sell xb ones" it is an abbreviated form of saying "3rd party games won't sell Xb ones in sufficient quantity to make a substantial difference to sales relative to other consoles, and in particular Wii U 1st party will push sales more for Wii U." I've never seen anyone stupid enough to suggest blockbuster 3rd party games won't cause sales spikes for Xb one. That's just ludicrous, and to make a thread implying it is a widely held belief among Nintendo fans is disingenuous in the extreme.

I actually agree that 3rd party games won't do much for Xb one. And 470k vs 170s for Destiny is pretty good evidence to support that notion. The problem for Wii U relative to xb one is that 1st party games are doing less for Wii U than 3rd party games are doing for Xb one. So while the first part of the claim by Wii U fans is correct: 3rd party games won't help Xb one sales much, the second part (Wii U first party will keep sales above xb one) appears to be horribly wrong.

So the correct title for this thread is "Ok so 3rd parties are not really helping Xb one sales, but 1st parties are doing worse for Wii U."
