I like the characters of Kof far more than the street fighter series, and I really don't like the look of the new street fighter so I'm on the side of KOF here

This Kof may be better but street fighter will definitely sell better. Before you junp the gun I'm avidfan of all fighting games and my favorite character from KOF is shingo. One day he will shoot flames.

I love both franchises,however,I don't liked KFXI (the last one) but KFXII looks so great,I hope SF4&KFXII can support online matchs.

By the way,where the hell is SSF2HD?hurry up Capcom or you will release it alongside of SF4 >:(

King of Fighters XII looks miles ahead of Street Fighters IV. In fact, King of Fighters XII looks like it will be the best fighting game this year! I wish Capcom would have taken a silimar direction with Street fighters IV. Hopefuly, Capcom will release a true 2D DarkStallkers games with sprite-based visuals that compare to King of Fighters XII.

Error, the best fighting game this year and all the others years is SSBB,

I have a hard time understanding how you think KFXII will be better than Brawl. gladly give it a try if I get a chance but Brawl and the HD version of SSF2 are the two fighting games I am looking forward to the most this year.

Brawl, in my opinion, is nothing compared to Street Fighters or King of Fighters. That would be like comparing Enchated Arms to FF6.

Smash Brothers is simply out of it's league. You don't compare a game like that to two of the greatest fighters ever.

OMG! Wow. Just Wow. Please give us a Samurai Shodown that looks like this! 2008 is the year of the fighter. KoF12, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4, SSBB all in 2008. When has there ever been this many great fighting games in one year? I am so pumped for this game.

SSBB will be overshadowed by Soul Calibur 4 and Street Fighter 4. Brawl is a great game no doubt, but no where close to the best fighting game this year.

 Soul Calibur 4 overshadowing Brawl would be like a Tales game overshadowing FFXIII. It just ain't going to happen. The Smash Borthers series is way way more popular than Soul Calibur or Street Fighter at this point. Brawl has already outsold Soul Calibur 3 if this site is to be trusted at all. You are welcome to your opinion as to which one is better, but there is no way that it won't be the most popular fighter of the year. Nothing is going to overshadow it.
