Forums - General - What would you do without videogames, the internet and tv?

I'd be picking up girls in the mall... oh wait...

hahaha
Poetic literary genius at work here.

I know, +10 for GooseGaws, that gave me a good laugh, brilliant.

Having been on the internet for 11 years now, I can't imagine it.

Before the internet, I read at least 3 books a week and was always active in at least 2 different sports a year. You know, now that I look at it... fuck.

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

Maybe I would read ,because it is the closest thing to tv without internet and video games and sometimes it is even better.

To be honest, that is kinda sad.
Just because you can no longer escape reality through all your old conventional means, you try to find another medium which you can escape reality from. You could still try the movies though.

I know but I am not a very active person.

After your beating, I'd take that hat and continue your work.

I'd end up reading more books. I remember when me and my ex-old lady had to go without the net for a week. We were both bummed about it, but ended up having a great time. We spent a lot more time together, watching movies and such, and didn't even argue once that I can recall.

I'd re-learn how to play bass, re-learn how to play keyboards, and re-learn how to speak Spanish, and get back in shape, all the damn things that the internet took away from me!

Also, if the internet was gone, but games weren't, I'd actually play games instead of sitting on VGC all day. I've got hundreds of games to finish. I'm backlogged all the way to the NES.

You could always try chess or scrabble. Maybe even take up an instrument.
The guitar and the saxophone are easy instruments to learn.
Without videogames, internet and tv we would all have to go out of our houses more often.

I'd finish the book I've been working on for the last 5 years. Almost there though.

Socialize more, read more, sleep more (!), and get another job cause I'd go freaking nuts at my current one without the internet to kill all the down time with.

Smoke pot more. Play MAGIC a ton more. Work in a factory for 12 hour days of manual labor. Go to the bars every night when not working. Drive drunk. Wonder why my life turned out to be so fucking dull. Listen to THE WALL by Floyd while I cry myself to sleep at my parents house in my old bedroom. Still be alone instead of being married for 7 years and having a 3 beautiful children.

Working in IT for the past 10 years has changed my life!!!!

The only TV I watch the whole year is Sportscenter HD, Discovery HD, and NFL football.

Without games, the internet, and sometimes TV.... I'd live a shallow and laughable life.

So what do you win if your prefered console sells more than another?

I think I'd look into that thing parents are always bugging you about called health XD

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
