It's a Vita chipset thrown into a box for $100 or so. It plays Vita games + streamed PSNow stuff + PSOne/PSP classics.

To be honest if Nintendo had something similar I think it would perform a lot better (3DS/DS/GBA/SNES/NES games + streamed Wii U titles for a $100 box?). Sony just doesn't have the "horses" to push this concept as their handheld division is much weaker.

I for one would buy a 'Nintendo TV' for $100.

I think I would too, if the NES and SNES catalog of games were complete and each game were $1 to $2.

Play - now this means to enjoy

Station - Refers to a hub or point of interest, it could also represent a channel of sorts.

TV - television

I made a thread about this a month ago, got banned for it. So you know its just a microconsole, that can remote play with PS4. Thus like Vita and Remote Play rather than taking the entire console, you can just take the PSTV and play your PS4 on any TV.

Current complete list of game supported for PS TV in NA. This list will continue to be updated as more Vita games will be updated to support PS TV.

Personally I'd love to have Crisis Core from PSP but then again I'd rather Square do an HD remake for it for PS4 =)

I like the Vita TV in concept, but the execution is just flawed. The fact that a good chunk of the library will not be playable on this thing is a huge drawback. One simple solution to this would have been to allow you to use your existing VITA as a controller, if you so chose. If that were an option, I would buy this thing in a heartbeat. As it stands right now, I have no intention of getting a gimped system.

This, more or less... imagine smash bros and mario kart on this thing.

If PSTV (Or PSVita TV, whatever) is going to be hacked with some exploit, considering that most of the consoles I'm going to list were already emulated on PSP, it could run easly DS, GBA, Snes, Nes, Genesis, N64, PS1, Minis and PSP (all of them) etc... Also probably the not-compatible PSVita games that aren't playable at the moment, like the HD colections.

Not that I'm supporting piracy, I don't, but I'm just saying it could easly run all this stuff lol

Hey don't click here ! It's creepy !!

I want a PlayStation All-Stars Sequel ! Come on Sony, stop making too many shooters !

I'll make a better signature when I'll have time to do it...

Is a way to get PSNow on TVs in the future.

It's like a Roku/Apple TV except it plays games on it and can remote play a PS4.
Its innards are basically a Playstation Vita in a box.

I think the "TV" part of it wont make sense until Sony launches its streaming TV service.

If Sony is smart they'll release new PSTV models each year just to keep up with the competition in that space.
