FACE-FUCKING-PALM...

MS is so stupid it hurts -.-

Because a PC is going to kill the sales of the X1 version? Unlikely.

SFV is launching on PC as well because the impact of PC is negligable.

That's because Fighting games don't tend to sell well on PC, for obvious reasons.

Shooters are different.

Question is, if it does end up on PC, will it sell a noticeable number of units before being practically given away on Steam? Sunset Overdrive is apparently not even a game current Xbox owners are eager to pick up, much less a system seller.

Worked out rather well when MS finally got around to letting Alan Wake come to PC.  Stupid fuckers, would've sold so much more had they just released it simultaneously, like it was originally advertised...for years.  I never got it out of spite.

I learnt last gen that with patience there is very little reason to get an Xbox for 3rd party 'exclusives', because give it enough time they almost always come to PC and often other consoles as well. Given the sales disparity this gen between the consoles, there is even less reason for 3rd party games to remain on XB1 only.

I bet SFIV did better on PC than you think. Especially when you consider SFV is launching on PC. Even WB is launching MKX on PC.

SFV likely has more appeal to PC gamers than Sunset Overdrive in spite of genre.

People have died never experiencing Halo 3, Gears of War 2, or Fable 2 because they waited for the PC port.
