Considering this was originally for the PS2, I don't see it happening till at least the next generation.

It was originally for the PS1 not the PS2.

What? That's impossible!

:P

It was originally for the PS3 not the PS2.

Don't knw where you are getting your information from but I heard it was originally planned for the ZX Spectrum.

Hmm, pie.

That must be a good job. 6 years of doing almost nothing.

6 years? Yeah... No.

The title took a back seat for quite some time, and S-E staff didn't work exclusively on that title. They were called to support other teams for quite some time.

Those trolling comments have gotten old quite a long time ago. Yet most of you still think they're being clever. Quite sad.

To be fair though, S-E should never have announced the title while it was still so early in production.

going to buy it either on PS5 or Xbox Two

hype meter dropping fast

Isn't that what all Final Fantasy fans have said in the past? Yet the instant SE shows off a new XV trailer, it seems that everything is forgiven and their hype goes through the roof. It's unfortunate that SE will never learn because they know that they've got a hold on their fans.

Outdated jokes are outdated

As mentioned before, the basis seems to be completed, the rest of the work is not as time-consuming. Also, get that Tabata guy out of here , I don't like him talking about my game. Bring back Nomura, please.

Says the guy with an outdated username

Signature goes here!

2 things

- noctis only playable character
- sausage fest part only

already made my hype shrink.

8+ years in development. This must be a very ambitious project for SE.

As much as you try to sugar coat it, you cant sugar coat the facts. This game has been in development hell for many years. The team does not infer with the FFXIII team so the only game that can have caused a shift of staff is FFXIV:ARR. Regardless, we dont know and regardless there has always been a core team working in the game. Its also not out of the ordinary to think think these people had their work halted waiting for another portion of the project to complete so they can advance. Actually its obvious that that is what must have happened.

What we do know is that this game has been indevelopment for more than 6 years and its 50% complete.

Also, just so you know, its against forum rules to say other members are trolling when you disagree with them. That is flaming.

Seriously?

One of the reasons I didn't like 13-2 was because it only had 2 playable characters, and now 15 only has 1 playable character? Wow, that really sucks!

... er, I have to agree, this is disturbing news. I would have thought they'd be able to make it like 12 where you can sit there with one character while the other 2 work of autopilot or try and control all of them. SquEnix really need to get their FF production in line. It saddens me whenever I think about how far FF has fallen in production.

Hmm, pie.
