Yes, they deserve praise. It's unfortunate that they couldn't make the right choice to begin with but they've rectified the situation.

Perfect analogy. Well very fitting at the least. But did the WiiU fall off the mountain with his friend Vita?
listening the consumer ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)

If Sony deserved praise for "listening" to consumers last gen after the debacles that were the initial launch price and the PSN fiasco, then M$ deserves praise for "listening" to consumers after their pre-launch PR debacles and initial launch price.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Poor Vita and Wii U...
But yeah, they're not just limping... they're crawling up the mountain.
I dont understand some people. They tend to only see what they want and close his eyes for the rest.
Sony is not a "perfect" company like people tend to say. Yes they lied a lot for us too, and still are lying these days, or have all of you forget all the hype in that first months showing game after game, then after a great launch and many sells they just geting all delayed, that was not a lie?
Microsoft is not perfect, but i have only one thing to say. The bad apple that was destroying the company is out. The new president is very different from the previous arrogant idiot. After he came all the things in Microsoft are going better. Only to see Phil Spencer finally leading Xbox is amazing, after that all i see is focus in games, good offerings and content for gamers.
Sony have already passed through something similiar in PS3 days. I never hate then even with some bad moves, bad prices and bad estatements from the suits in that period. And they learned the lesson, change from inside, make great games and content, put better price on the console and more offerings to consumers, and in time things work out.
No.
When they made the 180, they were pretty clear that they still believed in their original vision, and even tried to make us regret the features we could have apparently had like game sharing (why the hell wouldnt it be possible now, if they really wanted to give that to us?... oh right, they probably wanted to make it a timed thing where only 1 person can play at a time, unlike what the PS3 already does which is let 1 purchase be played among multiple PS3's for an unlimited amount of time, even offline)
No. Just like Sony. They listen to what could sell the most, and they do just that. Nothing wrong here if you ask me.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
They deserve praise for fixing the mistakes, but they also deserve hate for trying to pull that shit off in the first place. So, they're still somewhat in the red.
Not really. Besides, they need to listen to their customers cause the X1 isn't selling that well.
