Not a conspiracy theory, just general observations. To be honest it completely slipped my mind that Titanfall was on Pc, it wasn't backpedaling as you put it.
When I say Xbox camp, it isn't a derogatory way. Just wicker than typing out X360 and X1. This can't really be how politically correct we have to be on the forums is it? Never insulted anyone directly.
Of course there's people who are GENUINELY disappointed in Destiny and I have no problem with that. I also never said anything about it be AAA, just that it is better than the general consensus and a solid fun experience. With the amount of hate it gets you would swear it was a complete turd.
When have we ever trusted reviews anyway? Would we be trusting them the same if Destiny was 90+ meta? Food for thought.
