PS3 will have a better RPG list than the XBox 360 when the PS3 exclusives arrive.

While there's no doubt that the 360 has the most RPG's, arguing that it has the best RPG's is absurd because everyone's idea of what's better is different.

The same can be said for the software library at large. To some, it's amazing, while for others, it's absolutely boring.

yeah, because WRPG's are not "real" RPG's.... seriously, it's fine if it's not your taste, but we are talking about RPG's in General, which includes jRPG's, wRPG's and MMORPG's.

Just like PC is the primary platform of RPG's due to the sheer amount of wRPG's and MMORPG's (and therefore, above any console), the Xbox 360 will be the primary RPG console because of the higher amount of wRPG's and MMORPG's than PS3/Wii.

By the end of this gen the 360 might have little to none jRPG's, but it will still be only second to PC.

WRPGs are more "RPG" than JRPGs. In fact, there is little real "RPG" in a JPRG. The story is laid out for you, you have little choice in how your character reacts to situations, you have little choice at all other than your skill points.

WRPGs, for all their faults, are the true descendents of the original pen and paper RPG.

Honestly, 95% of JRPGs don't even deserve to be classified in the genre.
