Its not about Sony going for the win. If Microsoft and Sony launch at the same time Sony generally has the ball in their court due to world perception of their gaming brand. Microsoft didnt come into this industry to be second best to Sony.

I expect Microsoft will be happy with it as long as they make money, don't know if they are yet, but they could be so...

Regardless of what MS think, I'm happy because both the PS4 and Xbox One are above the Wii U

just out of curiousity, why?

Because I think both the PS4 and Xbox One are better than the Wii U. I think Nintendo can do a lot better than they did with the Wii U, but they won't improve unless they are shown that the way they went with the Wii U isn't working.

Well that is true... most Xbox fans are coll and level headed, criticize and give credit when due, like you... some are quite beligerant (as any other fanboy in any fanbase)... sorry to put you in the same boat, you are cool. Actually I quoted you because you were the first I refound the quote when going back with the link, but didn't found Wasulfunir saying NO ONE CARES.... but anyway sorry again, and let's hope X1 keep healthy enough numbers to launch good games that their fan will be pleased to play, but of course still cheer for PS4 to sell 4x more and finish with a gazzilion units even if just to safe Sony from bankrupcy (of course this is just pipedream).

Selling less then the ps4 is certainely not deemed a failure though it depends how far below the X1 goes . If it grows seamlessly over the years and makes profit for MS in return it will be a success, however only time will tell


considering the xbox division struggles each gen to break even and with lower sales of software it will be hard to break even
