Case closed. Now that Amazon has them, we know what has happened. There is no new bundle or new 360 coming, just back to normal. I guess that MS didn't want to give away Marvel and Forza anymore. Much like how sony has stopped giving away Motorstorm.

I mean I assume thats whats going on. What I do know is that the shortage seems to be over. So next weeks results should be indicative of current demand, with no excuses.
I saw bundleless 360 soon after Christmas. I thought this was common knowledge as we saw Marvel and Forza 2 drop down the software charts.
There is zero chance that is is the cause of the shortage. They may be dumping tons of these out now but it wasn't a fact of trying to tdry the channel up of the old models. The didn't have this shortage when they introduced the bundle and it would have seemingly been much harder to have those non-hdmi units selling next to the bundle.
This was a production issue, new/cancelled hardware of some sort.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

I completely agree with you there. Both companies have the lowest possible cost plan out right now for the slower months possibly to prepare for pricing wars in upcoming months. I also think both companies will adopt a 2 SKU plan, with the Arcade being killed off due to holiday sales. So right now we have a $50 difference, with that being cover by live's cost. Next week should be interesting.
