That's the best thing about this game's visuals, the fluidity.

Freakish monsters and epic setpieces are cool and all, but for a fast paced action games like this, 60fps is paramount.

Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have hold backed Platinum Games... Wii U gave them more freedom...

Having twice as much RAM must have been a pleasant change. DX10/11 features instead of DX9 ones can't have hurt either.

God Of War III had more polygons I believe, if you count characters and environment.

Probably, although GoW3 wasn't 60fps. (And was a much bigger budget production with much more focus on graphics)

Platinum games are amazing devs. I hope everybody and their mom buy Bayo2 to encourage PG to continue doing games the way they do!

A lot of moms wont like Bayonetta unless they are relatively young or fans. This game is focused on a niche audience. I will be enjoying it though. I am a hack n slash fanatic, but being that its on the Nintendo console not going to sell well at all since most hack n slash fanatics are not on the Nintendo console.

Yeah obviously. I mean just look at the epic scale of combat in GOW III. I doubt even the PS4 could run it at 1080p 60fps.

Well, the first one barely scraped passed 2 million across over 160 million PS3s and Xbox 360s.

Let's assume the Wii U tops out at about 20 million consoles sold. To get the same attach rate Bayo 2 would have to sell 250,000. I'm petty sure it can top that.

That doesn't have much to do with his post though. He said hack and slash in terms of the whole genre, not just Bayonetta. And in that regards you KNOW that its not even fair to compare that to Bayonetta 2, atleast not for PS3. For that you should compare it to God Of War III, as both are hack and slash games and exclusive to the console.

God Of War III sold 5.2 million units as of 31st May, 2012 (Source: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-05-god-of-war-series-has-sold-over-21-million-copies) and is probably at over 6 million by now. To match even the 2012 sales attach rate of the game, Bayonetta 2 has to sell 1.5 million units which it probably will not.

That does not mean that they won't buy a Nintendo console just for Bayonetta 2 which is a sequel to a Hideki Kamiya's Bayonetta who also created Devil May Cry also Devil's Third from Itagaki the creator of Dead Or Alive also rebooting of Ninja Gaiden and there is a slim posibility of Suda 51 makeing No More Heroes 3.

Bayonetta 2 is exclusive to Wii U and is published by Nintendo also original will also be on Wii U so anyone that didn't play original and/or owns a Wii U can experience it. I need to point out that there are Nintendo fans that owned/own Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 that played Bayonetta and/or Devil May Cry...

Bayonetta is well known game and franchise and original grabed the Devil May Cry fanbase.

It will hit 1 million sales...

Bayonetta sold comparable to 3 out of 4 OG Devil May Cry games also GOW is kiddie HnS...

GOW 3 is meh compared to Bayonetta 2 visualy, GOW series always had  nice tricks to hide flaws in graphical department like Metroid Prime series.

You seem to forget the profit for the level of development. Platinum isn't doing that well with Nintendo, but Nintendo is taking the fall just in case the games tank. What you're expecting is nowhere near what that game should sell. The base just isn't built for these types of games. Hack N Slash hasn't been a thing on the Nintendo console since what the SNES and most of those games were third party in the first place.
