It usually how it rolls, the console that has the best starting off, usually dies a little quicker than the others but will still stay ahead.

Of course it won't dominate as a lot of people here claim it is. Xbox one will do amazing and so will the ps4. Sales will increase on the Xbox side I can assure you. This week on the charts it outsold the ps4 in the US. Xbox is gonna take the US back I am sure of it.

Then what about the PS1 and PS2? HECK the PS2 just finally went out of production last year, and the last game released for it was FIFA 14... it got PERSONA 4 in 2008/9 (one of the best JRPGs ever) when the PS3 was already out on the market for 2 years... and the PS2 was still getting exclusives...

PS4 will dominate in the Global, this is sure; the only interesting match I can see is PS4 VS XOne in NA.  In the Global is over, in Europe is Over.

Then, VGC often undertrack PS4 in NA, so don't even trust the latest figures from NA(week of Aug the 30th); NPD say PS4 won again in Aug, and will win again in September because of Destiny.
