This was to be expected. Hate such moves. The worst thing about this is that Nintendo doesn't even bother to launch the console World wide in 2014, instead causing so many people in the West to get an outdated console this Christmas. A dick move on Nintendo's part.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
