no i think

this game will have legs until mid / end october

got a slight bump for holiday and thats it...

no mario kart, the last of us, gtav or even cod legs

maybe battlefield legs

p.s i always hate to have a look at ur profile pic. why cant u put some beautiful girls on it? :(

Short but big system seller

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I do not think it will help console sales due to luke warm reception and it being on cross gen.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I think people are overestimating the amount of bad impressions. The only place I've heard anything remotely negative is forums. Everyone I've talked to in real life has nothing but praise for it.

Same here (though, I've said this before, you can almost feel the burning passion to hate on this game, from some, since Bungie are its creators and Destiny isn't exclusive). For me, it's the most fun I've had with an FPS of this magnitude in a long time!

Same here... Everybody i talked to has hugely praised the game... Remember that the Internet and forums in particular are filled with fanboys and wannabe critics... The extremely vocal MINORITY... Every time a new big budget triple A game comes along it's the same thing... Also it's from Bungie and Activision, so it's cool to hate on it.... My psn account is SOBACOGUAPO...  I'from Chile so english or spanish... Both OK... Send me a friend request and let's play Destiny!!!!!!... I really want a solid group to play raids!!!!... Thanks guys... :)

I have no idea what the most people tought of the game, just common internet hate.

But if it has comparable legs to GTA V on old gen, than it could get to 25 millions by next year.

Also the lack of reviews doesn't help.

I have heard plenty of negative amongst my real life gamer friends...anecdotal evidence is useless.. 3 of my friends regret buying it, me included.

No. MK8 is an established exclusive franchise. Destiny is a new multiplatform IP. It will give a boost for a couple weeks then die down.

What is dying down? Selling 50k/month for the next couple of years?

Probably something like that. Some people might consider that dying down compared to its initial numbers.

That would be incredible legs and give much better legs than Mario Kart 8.

I love this lopsided comparison.

Interesting that Titanfall is remembered so often and it´s supose to be a flop or in the language of NeoGaf "I didn´t performed as Microsoft expected".

It´s funny how that became the moto of a whole pletora of forum dwellers in the last few months.

And how they forget such other "summer" releases like Infamous SS or Whatchdogs.
