If this is true & MS pulls the Playstation versions they'll really limit legs.

If Notch sells Mojang, it means MS would buy it WITHOUT Notch inside it. But Mojang without Notch is almost just an empty box, making Minecraft partially exclusive would just limit the sales potential of its only noteworthy asset.

Actually, I think it will end up hurting Sony's reputation more. People are going to be like I can play this game on my xbox and pc why not playstation?

I don't think so, not having Sunset Overdrive for example is not going to hurt Sonys actual reputation as in what people think of them, say if Minecraft 2 came out and it was exclusive exclusive same as Sunset it's not going to hurt Sony's reputation. You'll just need to get an X1 to play it, I am fine with that.
What I am getting at is that Minecraft is already out on the PS3/4 and if MS go and buy Mojang and take away Minecraft from PlayStation now, as the OP suggested so that no one can play it, there reputation would get a beating and it would do nothing for sales and gamer goodwill. The fallout of hate against MS would be bad.
i dont see the competing platforms getting much support next year and the years to follow.
..What? Why would they abandon the PS3 and PS4 versions? That'd be a little silly.
MS didn't stop Skype from being available on other platforms when they purchased it, so I doubt MS will do this kind of move with Minecraft. That would just be counter productive after spending $2 Billion to acquire it and I'm pretty sure MS wants to ride the Minecraft money more than anything Mojang can provide them in the future.

Ig they were to pull an already existing version of Minecraft from other plataforms itd be a death sentense for theyre reputation. No gamer in the planet would ever again go near an Xbox.
Nah, Mojang won't let it happen even if they end up being bought. They're good guys. If MS is interested in Mojang, it's because of what they're going to do in the future, not because of what they're doing now.

It depends on who is making the purchase, MS, the computer company/OS maker, or their Xbox division. Presumably the Xbox division needs high up authority from the board to make a purchase like this and with so many on the board disliking the Xbox division, it's unlikely to come from them. It may be a MS in general purchase and they want it for brand and potential, meaning it is unlikely that they will remove potential profits just to get a leg over competition in a market many of the board don't even want to be in.
Hmm, pie.
