Why is this only bad for Nintendo?

They're missing out on all that App Store™ revenue by not being third-party already, of course.

If Apple truly does take over the game market and make Nintendo obsolete, then I hope they find a way a way to organize their app store for games and really market the ones that aren't free but in high quality.

I don't want to be like those people who complain how MP3 sounds inferior to their retro/electric record players when I complain that the new standard in handheld gaming sucks lol

Sony would. Most of their divisions make losses and with the PS4 doing well, their games division is gonna make lots money over the next few years.

If only the polygon writer did more research then they would have known Nintendo also owns the Pokemon Company which is worth ¥365.4 million

Of course some of that includes video games but it also include the Pokemon movies that always do well in Japan and other Pokemon merchandise.

If only Nintendo can market its other gaming brands like Pokemon.

On news articles like this we will always read comments from people that mobile gaming will not hurt Nintendo or other consoles and then you go into the Japan sales thread and their people bad hardware sales on the popularity of mobile gaming like Iphone hurting Nintendo and others...
