I bet you couldn't tell me which aspect of Halo declined in quality over the years.

Thanks man. September is pretty weak i'd say. That is why am playing a game from 1991. I hope you play Destiny for 1000's of hours and one day "become legend".

Yeah I said general consensus for a reason. That's pretty much what "cliche" means.

So you can't tell which aspects of the game devolved in the franchise.

Im sure Destiny will be supported for a long time though Halo brings it out the gate and still continues to support it. Destiny also doesnt have near the amount of stuff i mentioned

Its a new ip by Bungie with a $500m marketing campaign.

Halo 4's story is considered to be the best by many actually.  Multiplayer was good but they changed a few things people didnt want (Still a great Multiplayer) which has been removed in Halo 5 (Weapons Spawns, everybody on equal balance, no armor abilities).

I judge quality off how good the game is, not by sales and how long the campaign is.  This means Story, gameplay, multiplayer, content, etc

Either way im excited to play Destiny this evening becauase im sure its a good game.  THough playing the beta i would agree, its not halo

its funny how some low witted comments by certain individual(s) just spend time hating on a game that isnt on the title.

now back to Destiny,
I look forward to it, and i am interested in seeing how things unfold before friday when i pick up my copy. If it is really that short, i might wait a bit longer to buy it since i already have a backlog. 

Edit: also, thanks for the quick review OP, I am trying to get a feel for this game and how it is. 

Destiny has some mmorpg mechanics. In most mmorpg, the best part is the end game, and you get there only after a lot of hours. Soooo...I don't really think you should judge it so soon.

I really want to get a new game right now. I'm in that place right now where it's been a while since I've gotten any games, and I kinda want something new, and waiting for he next big game I want (which I don't think is til october or november) seems like quite a long wait. Destiny is releasing with perfect timing, but I'm worried it's not gonna be that good. I had fun with the beta, but how much content is there?

7/10. The PvP is boring just like in the beta. Co-op aspects are excellent. If you play games solo it isn't worth buying.
