Read the OP. People play games, not sales. Sorry but Destiny is not nearly as good as Halo. From my experience of playing Destiny which I have preloaded on my PS4 its a great game but like the op said it not epic and to me it lacks a soul. Those are the things that made Halo amazing.

I am enjoying it. Only played about 3 hours so far. I completed 4 missions, and then played around with the bounty missions, and spent some time exploring the map. I guess I am on track to complete the campaign in about 20 hours.

My biggest disappointment with the game is the load screens between the cutscenes / transitions, which I feel really break the immersion in a somewhat weak story (which I am hoping it gets better).

Played the beta for lots of hours but this doesn't mean is epic, in fact is far from epic. The thing here is that the game is just fun to play, exploring, looting and killing high level enemys. I know for sure the complete game is just like that and that is not a bad thing is just a normal good old FPS formula unlike other todays FPS mindless run and gun games (COD BF, Titanfall ).

I see Destiny as a good fps but nothing epic, I find epic Killzone Shadowfall cause its visuals, is challenging(not for noobs), and is fun to play but its story damn so disappointing.

What does that mean?
 

Point one you said destiny is bigger than halo in content and sales.......It's obviously a bogus statment as you didn't specify a specific halo title, thus you are saying this one destiny is bigger than everything halo generally.

Next, outselling Halo titles when it's a multi platform title isn't saying anything but that it's a multi platform title. Now if it pulls a call of duty and can outsell the better halo games with just one of the consoles it's released on, then that would be impressive.

Yeah and it will be the same for Destiny. Lots of different modes for people to play forever. Bungie is going to support the game for a long time too with new content, something they didn't do as much with Halo.

Yeah and it has the disadvantage of being a new IP releasing early in the generation. Destiny 2 will sell more on PS4 than any Halo I bet, with other systems bringing it to CoD levels.

How do you judge its quality? The general consensus seems to be that Halo has been declining in quality since 3. You might disagree but the way Vasto worded it was like he was speaking for more people than himself.

I think its because the story has absolutely no substance. The main character is bland and only speaks when some plot needs to be explained. Definitely doesn't have the epicness of Halo missions which are unique and stand out. Destiny's missions kind of just seem like a big blur of playable areas. While the multiplayer is good but it just seems so unbalanced and easy to manipulate. Literally no teamwork is needed, just run off and do your own thing and you can win. Bungie used to be masters of storytelling and multiplayer, but I guess that talent is with 343 now. I hope I didn't waste money on this so im just gonna keep playing and see if anything changes.

1: Eh? Vasto didn't specify a Halo either, so I'm guessing he meant Destiny is worse than any Halo game? 

2: Sure, bud. It's a new IP which is going to become Bungie's most popular game in a matter of days. The PS4 version will outsell some Halo games for sure (not Halo 3).
