average on metacritic (user) is 5.4 either destiny has a load of hate for it, or it just got over hyped, as in its not a bad game its just not groundbreaking, to me it looks too similiar to halo(art style, movement) but open worldish-halo

They had written that a few days ago which does mean that they haven't even played the game actually since servers are online since yesterday. So there is something wrong.

Don't look at the aggregate, read through and find the not-10s/0s/1s and read them. The general and more well thought out posts from users put it between a 4-7.

ya i had to laugh at one review because he/she gave it a zero out of 10 as it had no offline mode,

Which would be fair game if they didnt have an internet connection. :p

Crazy reviews so far. Id rather wait and hear more gamer impressions. I gave up on actual reviewers years ago.

This is clearly a click bait review, but I'm gonna hold off on this game to see more reviews. I want mid to high 8's before I consider getting this full price.
