Isn't there like... a website that tells you how much stock amazon has and at what rate it's sold. I remember someome trying to use that a few months ago to justify the PS3 was going to get a big boost... yet it didn't.

I never saw such a website.

This comes as no surprise to me, the wii was only sold out in NA last year. Japan and Europe had a nice supply of wii's but they ran out during the holidays. It would make sense that they would reach a point of not selling out faster then NA or japan. Japan also has wii fit sales to bring in additional sales of the wii, so they will take longer to have a nice supply of wii's.

The Wii really has met demand in Sweden. Well, it's selling pretty well, but you can find it pretty much anywhere.
After 6 days, the situation at Amazon is still unchanged. The Wii also seems to be well stocked in many other retailers in UK from what I can see:

Until further news, I'll assume that the Wii is not selling out in UK any more. I'm looking forward to see sales data for last week.

it is very possible that Nintendo jammed the retail supply chains in order to limit resellers, by making so many availible at once Nintendo drives down the price making it so only the "real" customers are doing the buying.

add me, the more the merrier.
Don't worry, nintendo will realise their mistake and cut shipments soon enough.
It's not easy to keep a supply line constrained.
