Yes the model for the Marine shows him wearing armor but in game Marines have 0 armor unless you upgrade them.

Regarding the vote on Sparks, I can get behind that today. TruckOSaurus' post earlier in the day really slammed it home hard that Sparks is the biggest candidate we have right now. Him not being here in a meaningful way for a few days is also going to be pissing me off.
