This doesn't sound like you're that confident Spurge is the nuker after all.

He's one of the three we haven't cleared, he freaked out when the net was tightened on him, and tried to incriminate me with a fakeclaim. Padib has defended and encouraged him (supports my padib traitor theory), and he's pushing for the detector to be lynched.

To me it all adds up.

I'm as confident as I can be with no role-result or evidence against him other than his fakeclaim and a 2-bit theory that padib is a traitor.

I know he's scum for sure.

I might be dense, but I am uneasy with why all but three players are cleared. A run down again would be nice, as far as I know, we have 4 claimed scans and 2 claimed scanners. I don't remember exactly who was scanned outside of Padib and Carl. I seem to recall Trucks and Cone also, but I could be wrong. Wither way, there are plenty of players left that are not confirmed by scans. Are these players considered cleared because they have a claimed role that sort of makes sense and that's it?

There shouldn't be scum with a daykill ability, so *if* prof moves there's the benefit of clearing prof once and for all.

But that's weighed down by a premature end to the Day and the fact that he needs to be damn careful about who he shoots. Recall Day 3 of the last game: Sparks mis-shoots, mafia carried for a mis-lynch against him, game basically set after that. These powers are NOT to be abused.

The only part that's holding back my confidence is that his actions and behavior don't quote befit the average player in his position.
If he was the nuker, I would think he'd simply try to go with the flow and let wright get lynched.

The counter-argument to that though, is that spurge isn't the average player. He's overconfident, explosively jumpy, and often counterintuitive. He also acts in very odd ways.

For instance, on day 3 he said something like
"So we know that this game, if a player disappears after being questioned then they are scum"
This is such an out of place statement of meta it begs to reason what the motivation is behind it.

Although I've already voiced concern that the people who have claimed roles could still be the nuke.

I was going to at the start of the day, because it seemed like discussion was going nowhere, but now that people have come around and we are moving on from the wright wagon, etc, there seems like a lot more to talk about.

Impertinence seems to want to talk about the possibilities of a nuker. I am open to that.
