But something somewhat significant seems to have been forgotten. Remember that guy who was one vote away from being lynched (thanks to Carl, a "veteran") a couple days back? Where's he got to huh? His last post was the sorta flimsy wish-washy non-defense when that was all going on, and nothing since. I'm all for going after other people, but I would like to here from Sparks too. It seems like he's "given up", and that's a little concerning. 

WRight, you or padib if I had to guess. You have brought it up so much that I feel you are just nervous someone will figure it out with you. Padib has some magical power and tells everyone to leave him be then leaves, and then Wright....

I'm not nervous about anything. I'm just nervous that noone else is bringing it up, and people keep saying I'm being rather passive. At what point do we become concerned about the identity of the bomber? Is it Day 4? At that point it could easily be too late. 

By no means am I suggesting a vote or to change targets at this stage; looking for Mafia is a good move but it's not something which should be forgotten, else we're already setting ourselves up for failure.

I have a question about these two paragraphs however. You're basically saying that you think Sparks is town, but then you change that opinion to Mafia without any reasoning. I understand you're not editing and just providing opinions, which is great and it shows with other users, but this bothers me a little. Why change your mind on Sparks?

Oh yeah that's a good point actually - the first point I made is really the main one that I was trying to get out. I think the second point came as a result of there being almost unanimous agreement that Sparks was probably Mafia and should definitely die today, when combined with some of his interactions with other players (including Trucks). As of now, I'm on the "Sparks is probably town" side - lynching him will give us no information if he is town, which I believe he is, so it's a waste of time imo.

I've got a solid town read from him up until today when he has continued to be weirdly quiet. There's plenty of stuff that has shaken loose that he should have observations about. I get a feeling he is content with the way the game is flowing right now which is not great. Prof has disappeared even more than before also.

Lot's of good stuff, but I would think vanilla town is the safest of all fake claims since no one would question it if it was counterclaimed?

I'm hoping that someone will bring forward some actual results from their roles at some point. I guess Day 2 is a bit early especially if nothing of substance has been found, but without some sort of scans it's going to be a rough time for town. I am not sure how feasible it is to find the bomber just from slips.

Waht if you were forced to claim right now. You could lie though. Would you say you were a king hero who could do anything? Or would you say vanilla townie? It is a safe claim for both scum and town. Check old games. It is nothing new. What is worrisome is that he has not really been here to say anything, but we have a handful of those types this game. Radish happily came in and said something.

Well Padib claimed because he has something up his sleeve. White and Khan claimed partially because it is either a safe thing to say or they really are what they say they are, even though they did not say much.

 

But ifyou were the doctor and were forced to claim, would you say you were the doctor or vanilla town? Once I lied even though I was town and I believe it was truck who slammed me for lying. I was lynched, they found out I was town, and I was an idiot.

If you say you are the doctor, then scum will go after you. Doctor is a big role. Vanilla town is a universal claim.


Yes, so, as I am saying: When Sparks claim vanilla town that is not necessarily a town tell like Radish said, it could be the simples available fake claim. I know it is also possible Sparks is exactly what he claims. I am just saying that Radish assuming he is town because as scum he would not fake claime vanilla town is making a mistake.

For someone who was so hell bent on avoiding useless back and forth about meaningless details at the begining of the game, it's pretty peculiar why you keep this train of discussion going.
