Wait! Before you decry me, hear my plea!

You've seen the lukewarm launch the XBOne had in Japan, didn't you? Okay, that may be overstating whatever success it had, but let's assume you did. The thing is that the XBOne just lacks exclusives that appeal to the Japanese crowd (or you could say that it lacks games, period).

Okay, now, back to that Hyperdimension thing. I am not asking to create a Hyperdimension Neptunia game exclusive to the XBOne. That's just asking for trouble. I'm asking to create a Hyperdimension game centered around Operating Systems, not Game Consoles.

Why, you ask? Look at Microsoft Taiwan and Microsoft Japan, or their marketing departments. On one hand, this could actually be the kind of exposure that would guarantee the success of the Madobe sisters (and Inori Aizawa). On the other, this game might be the starting point to Japan treating XBOX seriously apart from the shmups their console would somehow acquire.

(And, the possibilities for crossovers between the two separate Hyperdimension franchises would be endless!)

I know they've gotten tons of flak lately for the exclusive(s) on their platform(s), but I could see this being a good idea.

It's long due. Can't wait for the Android to kick some apples out of a window at some penguin.

CH won't stoop as low as betraying their audience for shiny monies like ImageEpoch and the likes

They're not technically betraying their audience, though, it's more like bringing themselves over to a new fanbase.

(The Microsoft fans would own everyone else, though :P)

Trying new things can't be seen as "betraying". They can keep doing games on Sony platforms, just a change of scenario for once.

I mean, Persona is still a Playstation franchise (if we exclude DS/3DS games), but some other projects, such as Catherine, also ended up on MS consoles.

No harm in trying, I'd say.

Isn't Hyperdimension that weird take on their console wars?

Considering how Microsoft got big companies on board to make exclusives for the Xbox 360 (like Square Enix, Bandai Namco and From Software), I wouldn't think Compile Heart is enough. I think they need to keep contracting Mistwalker first and foremost.

Yeah. Imagine OSes (both desktop and mobile) getting turned into cute girls.

Oh, and fanservices.

I know they're not enough. That's why I said that it's a start.

Besides, even then, it's a bit of wishful thinking on my part. (See my avatar to have an insight on why.)
