I hate them!

The last racing game I got was Forza 3 (it was decent but nothing great)

-I hated Gran Turismo 5

-I hate Mario Kart

I might give the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 a try because I heard it is open world and the graphics look amazing!

I feel like the genre isn't really improving at all. The only racing franchise I would even think about playing is Forza (but not at full price).

I am a huge fan of open world/action/adventure/3rd person shooter type of games. Do you guys like racing games??

Sim racers... mehh

Arcade racers... depends

Kart Racers... HELL YES!

Not into them generally. I played Gran Turismo 2 a lot way back when but then it was pinnacle of gaming. I got GT3 A-Spec years later it's release to have fun with a friend, we worked as a team, taking turns. But generally, don't own any other racing games.

EXCEPT: WipeOut, one of the greatest game series ever made. It's awesome and I blame all you lot for causing Liverpool Studio to close because you didn't buy it enough. WipeOut HD was amazing. So pretty.

I don't really like them. Don't hate them though, don't know how someone can hate a videogame!

Like all genres, my opinion changes depending on the game.
Sims: I love the Gran Turismo games, but 1 & 2 in particular.
Arcade: I love these. The Burnout series is some of the most fun games I've ever played, particularly Revenge.
Kart racers: Crash Team Racing is god.

I like Mario Kart and Burnout and the Crew looks interesting just for the vast awesome world but other than that I get bored with them.  And of course Crash Team Racing

Sim racers are some of the most boring games in existence.

It depends on the game for some of the others.

Pretty much the only racing game I really like consistently is Mario Kart.
