That's a false equivalence. DVD and Blu-Rays are not remakes, they're rereleases or remasters. They're the exact same movie.

If they port or remaster a game like they're doing with REmake then I'm fine. But to waste resources on building a brand new game based on a game that's already good just seems silly.

Well 9 times out of 10 it is just a rerelease or remaster so no real problem in most cases then right?

If it is just a remaster then fine. But what I'm against is Capcom remaking any of the older Resident Evil games. There's nothing particularly wrong with them.

They're not on PS4 and X1, neither are they in HD. That is plenty wrong and Capcom sees that.

All of them... The old games need graphical updates and bonus content... The newer games need to be completely re-done. Maybe they'll do 5 & 6 the right way if they remade them.

Why is that a flaw? When did a game being old suddenly become a flaw?

You've probably seen it already, and its fan made... But Cmon... Even you got to appreciate something like this is it came out!

problem is it aint a remake its a hd port of the GC game nothing changed but res lighting and AA aswell as voice acting as we know so far

would of much liked to see the game go to 3d it can be done with good survival horror results see RE revelations and mix up the puzzles story add more areas just like the GC version did to the PS one so its a new fresh experience and opens the door wide for RE2 remake on current gen. its pretty obvious that the 2d and tank controls are hindering the experience of RE games thats why they switched it from RE4 on if there gonna remake RE2 or RE3 they shouldnt waste there time unless there 3D
